Best of the last batch
What a wild ride the past 7 months have been. Had a double anterior discectomy and fusion done on my C5, C6, and C7 vertebrae on November 5th. After 5 months of a long recovery process, the doctor cleared me to go back to living my life as I see fit. I was 125lbs which I haven’t been since I was 19 years old. I couldn’t do more than 10 push ups, and I had little to no appetite. May 16th I started my journey to get back to being myself. On June 17th I’m happy to say I’m 145lbs, and can eat and do things I didn’t think would be possible for me to do again. I still have more to go but I’m just blessed and so grateful to be able to wake up every morning and not be in pain anymore.
