Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear 😱 you made my day (or evening in this case) with this story, @stephanierabig I've been in an "almost reading slump" for the past two months, I'm surviving but I'm reading sooooo slowly. And tonight, I killed this awesome book in... 2h 🤣. While on shift at the office. Take a bit of Lone Ranger, a dash of a Lone Woman and a creepy side dish of The Watchers. Put two dashing, badass lesbians bounty hunters, one Irish and one black ex-slave in the middle of a western man hunt (or is it a man ?👀😉) surrounded by the usual racist and bigots for this era, and ... You have a 100 stars read, no joke, it's THAT good! I received a copy via #horrorindietron speed-read-dating event but I'm definitely buying this one for my collection. I can see this story becoming one of my very little few yearly rereads. 📚 When a prairie-mad settler murders Milton Allen's brother and his family, the wealthy rancher offers an enormous bounty to bring the culprit in.
