Best of the last batch

Tomorrow, I close a chapter and open a new one. Graduation isn’t just about walking across a stage — it’s about the years of growth, challenges, lessons, and moments that brought me here. Going to an HBCU was always my dream — a place where I could not only pursue academic excellence, but also grow in identity, pride, and purpose. Being surrounded by a legacy of Black excellence, culture, and resilience has shaped me in ways I’ll carry for a lifetime. I found community, I found strength, and I found myself. This journey wasn’t always easy. There were late nights, setbacks, and doubts, but through it all, I kept going. To my family, thank you for pushing me to fullest potential, guiding me, and standing by my side through my darkest hours. To my friends, I love each and every one of you, y’all are my hearts, and I can’t thank you enough for the memories & bonds we’ve created. To my incredible, loving, one-of-a-kind teachers, Thank you for being the guiding lights who saw potential in me even when I couldn’t see it in myself. Your patience, wisdom, and unwavering dedication have shaped not just my mind, but my heart and spirit. You have given so much more than lessons—you’ve given encouragement in moments of doubt, strength in times of fear, and love that reached far beyond the classroom. Each of you holds a special place in the story of who I am becoming. Thank you for being more than educators—you are mentors, role models, and lifelong inspirations. To my Alabama A&M UNIVERSITY Choir! May your voices continue to carry you through greatness, not only in music but in every path life leads you. Each note you sing is a reflection of your passion, unity, and unwavering spirit. Through harmony, you inspire; through dedication, you uplift. Your melodies echo far beyond the stage—touching hearts, building legacy, and honoring the rich tradition of excellence that defines Alabama A&M. Keep singing with courage, with pride, and with the brilliance that only you can bring. I am forever grateful for the time I spent with you all.
