Best of the last batch

New York in September has a certain charm. The leaves are beginning to fall, but the sun has not quite followed suit. The light lingers a little longer than we deserve, our skin is still warm, and suddenly, we remember to take advantage of everything we thought we had more time for. So we let the afternoon stretch on, because soon the sun will disappear earlier than we’d like, our once warm skin will hide beneath wool, and afternoons like this will feel impossibly far away.
