Best of the last batch

Some stories begin by chance, and find their way back by choice. 🍷♥️ Bold, warm, and quietly intimate, the cover of Call It Coincidence by Nona Uppal (@nonauppal) draws you in with its evocative palette and painterly mood. Illustrated by Rishika Kapoor (@rishikaillustrates) and designed by Shadab Khan (@__eitheror), the artwork captures the essence of two people caught in a moment that feels both ordinary and extraordinary, much like the story itself. Rendered in Pantone 2035 C, the deep red sets the tone for the book’s emotional landscape, a mix of intensity, vulnerability, and connection. The textured brushwork brings warmth and immediacy, making the scene glow with life. The typography, echoing Nona Uppal’s debut Fool Me Twice, creates a visual continuity. Swipe through for a glimpse behind the scenes, from early sketches and colour studies to moments at the printing press that brought this vivid design to life.
